Jojo’s Pizzaz

Getting off the train and walking down for a taxi after a few drinkies in Manchester invariably leads you close to the welcoming glow and garlicky waftings of Jojo’s. Bisto style, (other gravies are available), the scent lures you to the door and before you know it you are gazing at the enormous menu and wiping off the saliva from your shoes!
Pizzas, (I refuse to call them pizzaz), aplenty in just about any combination and up to an 18 inch behemoth, (I recommend the roni and garlic), garlic bread (z) with multiple toppings (maxaroni is heaven), kebabs (z), chicken, burgers (z) and pakoras (z), what more can you ask? The staff are always chatty and pleasant, the service is speedy, they will order you a taxi ready for you when the order is complete and their delivery service is excellent. To top it off the food is always fresh and delicious. One of our takeaways of choice for any occasion in the borough.

Really, really good pizzas but at a price.
I’ve ordered many times from Jojoz and each time the food has arrived hot, tasty and within 45 mins.
Their pizzas bases are thin and fresh the toppings, good quality
.the only downside is the price.
£10 for a classic 12″ pizza is a little steep. not to mention £2.95 for a portion of potato wedges and 40p extra for a dip!
.and the stinger is the £2 surcharge for card payments. Harsh.
That said, I would certainly choose their pizzas over Dominos they’re truly the best I’ve eaten in Rochdale.

The only way for me to get over the unfortunate cancellation of a night at Frankies Fish Bar was to go for a pizza at the only half decent take-​away pizza near me, Jo Jo’z Pizzaz (enough z’z?). I say the only half decent take-​away pizza with a heavy heart because i’m a bit of a pizza addict. In my area there is a Dominos which whilst their pizzas are ok i prefer mine to not come with over an inch thich tide of tomato sauce on it. Everything else around here seems to be kebab houses that happen to do pizzaz.
Jo Jo’z is different, it is a pizza place that happens to do kebabs. see the subtle difference?
Anyhow we normally only order from here late on a Saturday/​early on a sunday after drinking copious amounts of Bourbon. My particular favourite and what i ordered this evening is the garlic pizza bread with cheese and pepperoni.
As i said they also do kebabs, a selection of pasta dishes, kids meals (but you wouldnt would you?) and various burgers… All in all i like Jo Jo’z they do exactly what it sayzzzzzz on their delivery Smart Cars.
