3 stars but it does a good job for a shop in «London», it is not bad. Haddock, chips, mushy peas, bread & butter and a nice cuppa before a rugby match a Twickenham. Nice eat in area with cosy little booths. Cash only. Was nearly diverted by the Empanda bakery just down the lane opposite. #nexttime

Really good fish and chips in Richmond. Used to come here alot when I was growing up with my parents. Eventhough there is a fish and chips close to my house, I will always drive the 5minutes into Richmond to get the food from here. Really old school décor inside — small booths and very attentive staff. Really one to try — excellent cod and chips! Really close to the green so always an idea to get an take away and grab on space on the grass when the sun is shining.

Great place to eat in or take away. Best fish and chips in Richmond. My girlfriend introduced me to this place. Interior is very 70’s, quite dated throughout but i quite like that. Table service in a chip shop is rare but great friendly staff make you want to go back again. Right near Richmond Green so if the suns out get a take away and head to the green.

Oh not a fan. The fish and chips were so soggy. On the upside, they battered and fried the fish and chips to order, so it was hot. Perhaps they don’t use beer or club soda to batter the fish because the crust was so mushy. Not very appetizing. On top of all of that, there is so much grease in the restaurant, you can see it in the air. I usually love the greasy spoon as it is all part of the charm, but breathing animal lard is just a bit much. I wish I could have saved the calories for another meal.

I’ve lived around here for most of my life and after testing out fish & chip shops in the area I can conclude that this is, without doubt or hesitation, the BEST fish & chip shop around. There, that’s a bit of a statement. And I’m sticking to it. So there.

It’s quite a rare event for me to venture into a chippy but it’s something that I enjoy as a slightly guilty pleasure, a couple of times a year, when the mood takes me. On these rare visits, I confess I’m pretty selective about my fries. I like traditional fat chips that are well-cooked, without unnecessary grease. I wasn’t disappointed here! Service was prompt and smiling and the chips perfectly done. They hit the(empty) spot ideally after my long, hungry walk on a cold windswept day. It’s also possible to eat-in here with a good fish-and-chippy choice and waitress service.
