Very friendly pub that I use when in the area about every two weeks and I cannot talk about it highly enough. Usually four real ales on tap and the food is very good. Make sure you peruse the daily specials board for something different. It may seem a bit pricey but given the area, I guess it’s normal.

The New Inn on Ham Common is in a great position being only a short walk from Richmond Royal Park and Ham
is a quaint but traditional smallish pub with a patio/​garden at the rear which is often used to accommodate smokers. The staff are friendly and efficient. the pub serves a good range of real ales and a choice of wines. the food is excellent albeit being a tad expensive. You are made to feel really welcome here. Thankfully there is no loud music or television here so it is peaceful. Highly recommended.
