The Rump Steak is absolutely wonderful! The service was very friendly. All and all, a really good experience.

Great location and good staff what was disappointing was the food, we showed up a a gorgeous day just before our walk across Richmond park, the wait for an outside table was a short one despite the weather and the number of people.
I understand that this is an American Diner and more of a brunch place perhaps, but with the exception a salad, the only vegetarian mains option was Ricotta & Spinach Ravioli, there wasn’t even the token veggie burger (this is out of 19 mains) and the portion sizing was quite small, the meal was good and my boyfriend enjoyed his. We didn’t stay for dessert and I didn’t have any drinks there, as I didn’t want to spend more money there when the options were so poor.
Overall, location and staff are great but if you are a veggie stick to the brunch menu (also a little limited) or go elsewhere.

We went here for my mums birthday as we always saw this place buzzing. Fantastic service from our waitress– thank you.
Short review as I can’t fault anything about this place. Food was great, presented nicely, service was exceptional and the whole experience was really welcoming. Best place to eat in Richmond by far.
But… that is my opinion. When I asked others they agreed but, nothing to shout about (food wise) when you go back into work on Monday.
Nevertheless I’ll be back for brunch to be sure!

A great little spot for brunch or lunch on the river in Richmond. Sit outside and read the paper with pancakes or eggs, or sit inside and have a delicious meal — salads, eggs, American mains and yummy puddings.

We were quite a bit early for our reservation but we were seated straight away by the window overlooking Wardour Street, a perfect spot for a bit of people watching. We ummed and ahhed over what to have and decided to share a couple of sides as well as having a main dish each.
I chose the roasted sea scallops while my friend had the pumpkin & ricotta ravioli which she kindly let me have a taste of. While both were very tasty I definitely need to come back for my own portion of that ravioli, it was divine! We had a side of the sweet potato fries which were easily the best I have ever tasted and we splashed out on the truffled mac & cheese which literally just melted in your mouth.
Of course in order to give you a thorough review we had to work our way through the rest of the cocktail menu and while the breakfast sour was definitely my favourite of the evening we just HAD to try the special of the day just to be sure!
But the star of the entire meal was the pudding. It was a tough decision but after seeing the melting chocolate sundae with its hot butterscotch sauce cracking open the hard chocolate shell to reveal the gooey deliciousness that was the chocolate brownie appear on someone elses table there really wasn’t any contest.
The whole place just has a really nice vibe to it, laid back and fun. I’ve since returned for more of their amazing cocktails and it won’t be my last trip either!

Brunch on a Sunday can be difficult to find in London when everyone seems to be serving a Sunday roast. This was the perfect combo of both breakfast and lunch options especially for a southern girl who was missing her fried chicken. Delicious! Their fresh juices and coffee were great additions to the meal and service was spot on — they checked in with us but weren’t all over us and let us stay chatting without ordering anything further until we were ready to leave. I will definitely be back for dinner. What a cool place with great food and a lovely vibe.

Below average food with below average service levels. Everything happens too slowly and the food itself not good enough for the price. Portions are inconsistent with some being good whilst other Mains are miniscule. Shame because the location is nice but there are much better options within 100m.
