I was intrigued when I walked past the window of this shop and just had to go in. It is basically a wine shop but it has been developed in a way that I think is unique. It is a smart looking shop with air of elegance about it. Go in a sit in one of the leather sofa’s, there is a flickering fire that has been programmed onto a TV (cheesy? — no it adds to the ambience). Carefully selected wines are stocked in racks and you have the chance to speak to one of the wine experts about what you like or are looking for and they will bring you various bottles to try before you buy.
Prices from £5 upwards, I think that they will find something for everyone and it doesn’t need to be expensive which is exactly what I thought it would be.
Great concept, great service and will suit those how like a bit more from their wine.
