The food was poor. Went for lunch and was very disappointed in the quality. The staff were friendly and the place was clean but let down by the food and will not go back.

Happy Birthday Dinner for my Cousin celebrating her 75th birthday, she thought it was a quite dinner with one or two but got a surprise that there were lots of us at Luna Rosa. I beleive this venue had previously been a Bar and has been renovated very tastefullly, to be a Cocktail Bar and Bistro. The Staff were very welcoming and our table was decorated for the Birthday Girl, there was a good selection of drinks on offer with several good draught beers which I did not get to try as I was driving boohoo. Afetr getting settled we all had a good look at the menu and decided rather than starters we had some garlic bread & bread & cheese, I ordered Stew of Gigot & Shoulder of Lamb Tuscany style @ £7.50, several of the guests had Classic Lasagne al Forno £6.50, Country Style Risotto custom made with no mushrooms £6.50 and last but no means least according to wee cuz Scallops & Pancetta Ham served with Tagliolini, as wee cuz does not eat wheat she had gluten free pasta which was a real treat for her all this for £8.50. These main course were all enjoyed good portion sizes and all very well presented in beautiful crockery. There is a selection of very tempting desserts from Home made Sticky Toffee pudding to Cookies & Ice Cream, Cheese Cake of the day and Torte di Mela all for the one price of £4.50 I abstained from dessert as I was full after my delicious stew. We were entertained through out the evening with the waiter who made a fuss of the older members of the party without being to over familiar. This is a very nice venue for a meet up with friends for a casual night meet up, I would like to return to try the Cocktails, there is live music every Friday ans alternate Saturdays
