Carn Brea leisure centre is situated opposite Tesco Extra in Pool. There is a large main swimming pool with a flume which goes into this pool as well. The changing room facilities are slightly dated and but they seem to be clean and well maintained. There is a large Sports hall with in the centre. There is also a athletics track which is well maintained and I have used regularly while competing in athletics events. There is a café and bar which looks down on the pool and sportshall which is reasonably priced, in addition to vending machines near the front entrance.
