Marks & Spencer

A fairly large store set over 2 floors. Has much of what you will need clothes wise, from mens, childrens and womens. It even has a custom order section just incase they don’t have your size in stock.
The replenishment staff here don’t seem to know where many things are which is a downside. Also the food does tend to be overpriced.

Marks and Spencers has got alot of food, but it is all really expensive! Very nice though, but i will stick to sainsburys. The clothes for children are quite nice, in fashion but still pricey. Quite popular with kids. The womens section is very old lady-​ish, the jewelry and shoes are not very modern, but the underwear and make up is good. They recently got a café, looks quite crowded, I can usually hear a baby crying if i pass at about 4ish. The black and green theme in the checkout is stylish and modern but seems cold and unwelcoming. The refridgerated part is pretty cold — good for the food but i dont like to stay there long.
The escalators at the centre of the shops are quite useful, if i am closer to these ones than the belfry ones i will walk through and use them, they dont really make the most of this opportunity as lots of people walk through, but most of the stuff surrounding the escalators is dull, they could get more customers if they tried harder.

I love Marks and Spencers but I find it really hard to shop in this branch. The whole store is hot and I find the lingerie section unbearable. The last 2 times I went in there I left without buying anything as I got so hot and bothered I could not bring myself to queue. I really think there heating bills must be extortionate, and it is costing them sales too!
They do have quite a good selection of clothes, and a major plus for me is that they have public toilets (with 3 kids, there is always 1 that needs to go in the middle of shopping!)
The home department is quite small, but you can order stuff in.
