Joshua Tree

This restaurant has to be my favourite place to eat in Redhill! The chef is very very good, and they have a great selection of different foods. i.e. ostrich and kangaroo plus lots of really nice fish dishes!
The bar itself Is also very nice and friendly, with the locals making you feel very welcome! You can also sit outside and enjoy a quiet drink in the back garden, Or out the front with nice views over the common!
It’s definitely a must try if you haven’t already!

We arrived during the busiest possible time — Saturday night 7.30pm — and kindly offered a table at the pub end. The atmosphere was lively with lots of banter/​laughter and discussion — typical pub atmosphere.
The service was quick and Tracy, our waitress, was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a good and tasty meal although it wasn’t amazing. I had the Steak and Kidney with dumplings as well as an apple pie and vanilla ice-​cream for sweet. Both enjoyable, but not amazing.
The prices were reasonable too although we were charged erroneously for a bottle of red wine (soon sorted with no quibble)
Overall, I thought the experience was pleasant. (booking for Saturday nights is advisable)

A great pub/​restaurant. The restaurant area is quite small so you need to book ealry for a table. The food is great a mixture of restaurant food and bar snacks. Parking can be tricky but nothing you can’t overcome. Would recommend this place without hesitation, a family favourite.
