Monday or Labour Day as it is known was not the best day chosen to view the very old fashioned farm shop. Yes there was cover inside the barn, but outside none. The tea shop unsuprisingly was busy, and the staff also, leaving Fanny herself to operate the tills. Had been there many eons ago. Did not recall the car reservation area being so small. Some of the merchandise was a tad pricey, but if you were a memorability collector, then you pay the asking price willingly. Anyway some of the very rude comments on another review site were not called for. Choose a fine day if you can.

i must say the setting is gorgeous, and some of the produce they sell is lovely. But the thing that i felt let it down was Fanny herself. All of the staff there were very polite, smiling and saying ‘morning’. Whereas Fanny when we were buying some of the produce spent the first 3 minutes stood in front of us belittling one of the girls who worked there, telling her off for not hanging a sign correctly before even acknowleding the fact we were stood there with an armful of products to buy. When we gave her the jars and things we had bought, she just huffed and puffed, in the most unwelcoming way. No manners, no smiles, even my husband who is Mr. Placid commented what a rude(and slightly scary) woman she was. Hopefully she was just having a bad morning, but sadly we wont be back

This place is pleasant enough and the scones and cakes are very good. This time we had an unpleasant experience with the staff. Our two year old was tasting tea for the the time. We asked if she could have a little cup of her own to feel grown up and were told only if we ordered another tea. Most restaurants are pretty accommodating to little children… this one is not. If you want your child to have a very small portion of what your having be prepared to pay for an adult. This was the owner’s daughter so it must be their policy. Country setting, city attitudes.

One of my favourite places ever! My 3 year old daughter also loves it. The food menu is limited but we’re quite happy to share a ploughmans and a cupcake. I love the quirkiness and the mis-matched crockery. There’s so much to look at and my daughter loves the two dogs wandering around and Fanny and daughter Nelly always chat and say hello. Wonderful place — I hope it never changes.

This place is really lovely, one of the best things anywhere near Chipstead. For a start there is a PIG wandering around, possibly TWO… I hope they’re still there as I imagine this review would send people’s expectations soaring… the cheese scones are also excellent(they will definitely still be there, don’t worry), as is allll the cake, especially the carrot cake, and the TREEHOUSE is awesome, very good place to celebrate a birthday/anniversary/anything really. If you come to the Chipstead region and don’t visit Fanny’s Farm Shop, I can’t possibly imagine what you are doing with your time.

I love this place! Slightly out of the main Redhill, this is definitely worth a visit. Their fresh fruit and veg is always really good all organic of course. Good place to take the kids at the weekend in the summer with fun stuff to do for them!

This is one of my favorite places I’ve been to for a cream tea! The cream tea was one of the best. Scones freshly baked and warm, served with clotted cream(none of this rubbish pretend cream). The scones came on a cake stand(the old fashioned tiered type) in china cups and teapots. Nothing matched but that was the beauty and charm of the place, it feels very rustic. They had chickens and you could collect the eggs fresh to buy, they sold veg, jams etceverything you would expect from a country shop. they also sell plants. You can also hire the tree house to have a high tea, morning tea, ploughmans lunch. If you fancy doing something different give Fanny’s visit it is exciting and enchanting.

Quirky farm shop just inside the M25. Shelves full of local produce, preserves, chutneys, and jams. Famous for their marmalade. Small tea room and a tree house(big enough to seat 12 people) in the garden is available for private hire. Collect your own eggs from the hens and say hello to their resident Vietnamese Pot Belly Pig. A fantastic place for afternoon tea, and charmingly rough around the edges. A true gem that champions local cottage industries and transports you back to grandma’s house.

Really beautiful. I went for a relatives birthday in the treehouse, went into the tunnel of junk(worth a visit), and helped chicks back into their pen after looking at the little piglets. The staff were really kind and friendly. The cakes and organic cola were really nice.
