Wynd Pantry

I have eaten several times here and the food is always delicious and home-​cooked. Portion size is huge so bear that in mind if you only have a small appetite.
Staff are extremely friendly and very helpful.
Prices are unbelieveably good value. The last time I went I had chicken & leek pie with mash and vegetables — I couldn’t finish it because the portion was so generous and the cost was only £3.95. The same food in a restaurant would have been over £10 and vertainly wouldn’t have been all home-​cooked that day.
I have also been to a couple of functions where the Wynd Pantry have done the catering and their buffets are fantastic! So much choice and beautifully presented.
There are some outside tables and chairs available in the summer and it is very pleasant to sit out with a coffee and watch the world go by.

Home cooked food and sandwiches, toasties etc to take away.
Reasonable prices.
