Full size super center in a suburban location. On first glance, it’s a massive store with a huge parking lot. Walking inside is no disappointment. The place is as large as any full sized Wal-Mart Supercenter I’ve visited in the States. On the ground floor is the store, of course. Pharmacy, travel center, key cutter and watch repair, dry cleaning station, all the usuals. Upstairs is a large café that itself is as large as the Sainsbury’s I’ve shopped in Reading town centre. There are also a few more smaller shops and the local ‘Adult education’ centre for Newbury College. Shopping is as you would expect in a full size store. Plenty of room for negotiating trolleys(«carts» or «wagons» in American). Many, many choices of products(though I never did find the maple syrup that was on my list). I was quite surprised to find an aisle of laptops as well as a section for high-def and flat screen TV’s, plus a large clothing section. All in all, a positive experience. One note: like many places in the UK, there isn’t a street number, just«Oxford Road». Therefore, the Unilocal map is off by a couple of miles. It’s actually located a short distance east on Bath Road from the M4 round-about.
