A great, friendly atmosphere where all are made to feel welcome! Reasonably priced drinks for the most part, and also some great bar promotions, depending on your favourite tipple! Generally clean facilities, good food, and good service! Only 1 downside has a very small smoking area, which can often get crowded very quickly, especially on a Saturday night :-/All in all, a great night out for all concerned, whether that be straight or gay!

Been down here a fair few times since its opened as a gay bar, love it! It’s friendly, welcoming and warm. The drinks are a good price, staff are lovely and the music is great! During the week there has been a few events taking placekiller pool, poker etc on the weekends there are DJ’s and it’s free to get in get in there! Hope to get down there again soon!

ok where to start the pub is clean tidy and presentable. The toilets are functional and clean! The bar is well stocked and clean and the bar staff are approachable, friendly, helpful and the prices are standard pub prices nothing shocking. There are also deals on so look out or ask staff for them. The food. well. having sampled their food on more than one occasion now their chef is fantastic, superb HOMEMADE food and a delight to eat and more than reasonably priced considering the portion sizes and most definatly the quality. i have meet people that used to frequent the pub before it became a gay/straight friendly venue and they still are more than happy to return and to be honest the guys that run it are so apprachable and welcoming i would struggle to find fault in the place at all. They have a small smoking area out the back which is always clean and tidy. Having spoken to the staff they are aplying for a roof garden and i think this will be a fantastic add on to an already amazing pub. i believe mondays is poker wednesday is pool and thursdays is karaōke but they have various things going on over the weekends and there is always the juke box and pool table and dart board. Personally this is my opinion of the place, but i would highly recommend it to anyone and i would urge you to go try it for yourself

Pretty much the nearest thing to a Biker/Rocker Pub in Reading, It does draw a mixed crowd at the weekends but generally it is pretty quiet in the week except on Wednesday nights. The beers are well kept and the atmosphere can get pretty hedonistic but always remains friendly. The toilets are way funky and there is a small smoking area out back where one can socialize with fellow addicts. A cool friendly pub which seems to be popular with all ages,(Including ex-Maidenhead aging Bikers like me) 4 Stars.

An unusual pub. Looks like a bit of a rough modern pub. You wouldn’t expect to find real ale or rock music here, yet they both very much are. I suppose Ozzy and Hobgoblin are not the most unusual bedfellows. Volume just loud enough to interfere with a good chat, unfortunately. Big empty space at the back where bands play in the evening. Was closed for a while until recently!

This is a rock pub in Reading town centre. the outside of the pub is daubed rather appropriately in black paint. It is located 2 minutes walk from Reading Main train station. there is frequently live metal music. The main reason for my visits are to play table football, or foose ball. I would recommend going there on friday night from 8.30pm to 2am when they close and also Saturday Afternoon 2PM onwards, where there is a practice session on the freeplay table. The tables available are the Standard Garlando rules. It is available for a rather bargainous 50p for 10 Balls.
