If you’re looking for a quirky little gift, or a tongue-in-cheek piece of art, then But Is It Art is the place to go. It’s got everything from novelty ice cube moulds to naughty wrapping paper and kitsch greeting cards.
The highlight for me is the selection of postcards for Reading, with snapshots of a trolley in the river, an overflowing bin and some graffiti. Classy.

I love this shop. You can walk past this shop, after trapsing round reading town centre shopping and just walk in but is it art and feel ralxed looking at all the wild but wonderful things. i love the pictures/photos on the walls.

This shop sells the most random things ever!
It’s quite amusing to browse in and I challenge you to come out without buying something — it’s nearly impossible.
Has an impressive selection of rubber ducks! :)

I love this shop! Ever since it first began in the Broad Street Mall, this was where I would spend my pocket money — usually on some expensive t-shirt I hoped my friends would think was cool. And they did. Everything from this shop is cool. I no longer get pocket money (oh the injustice!) and my friends have long since stopped caring what I buy but I still find myself poking through the random stuff this shop offers. If you’re stuck for inspiration when trying to think what to get your friend for their birthday or how you can baffle your parents when buying them a present for Christmas, I suggest you look here. If nothing else, looking around will bring a smile to your face.
