Food was quite tasty however, for nearly £7 you do not get much for your money.

I have relatives who live in Oldbury, which is a blessing because thanks to them I was introduced to Chop and Wok. It’s a takeaway almost swamped in a cluster of shops along the Hagley Road West, so it’s easy to miss when you’re driving past. Thankfully, there is designated parking for shoppers outside. I had the spicy noodles, which were THE best noodles I have ever tried! I have never been to a Chinese takeaway where the food has been sp spicy and flavoursome, which is welcome news to my taste buds! The portions are also generous and worth how much you pay. The service is polite and brief. The staff members tend not to make conversation, which is fine by me because they’re busy preparing the food, which is made pretty swiftly.

This is my local branch of Chop and Wok. I was absolutely thrilled when it opened, because it meant that Chop and Wok could be a weeknight treat, rather than a «stumble out of bar» weekend snack. The food is great. I love the fact that Chop and Wok containers keep food warm for ages. It is a 1 – 15 minute drive back home and my food is always piping hot when I arrive home. If you aren’t familiar with the Chop and Wok concept, here’s a quick run down: you choose whether you want a stir fry, salad or a wrap, then select your meat/veggie option, noodles and your flavourings. The dishes are really generous and come served in New York style takeout cartons, complete with chopsticks. Wraps cost £3.90 and stir-fries cost £5.80, there are lunchtime meal deals with prawn crackers and a drink that cost £4.90-£6.00. This is great tasting, quick and convenient food. They offer free delivery on orders over £10 within a 2-mile radius.
