Fleet

The Fleet is a spit and sawdust local haunt situated next to a port… Everything is against this pub, it’s in a bad area with no other reason to go there other than if you drove past and needed to use the toilet.
… Sounds awful? So you’d expect little from the kitchen, BUT for all the negatives (almost everything) it makes up for in providing excellent value, good food! The menu has recently been revamped and offers up a modest selection of pub favourites.
Off the menu I would stick to the main meals which come in generous portions normally with some sides.
The service is always very friendly and welcoming, but the décor fits in well with the beginning of my review.
Next time your in Purfleet or taken an accidental wrong turn and end up there, if your hungry stop and give it a chance!
