It’s huge!!! But with a café, electronics, household stuff and clothes downstairs and groceries upstairs it was not intimidating. We went to the café for brunch, breakfast stops at 12 but there was an all day brunch so I was happy as it was just what I wanted. At £4.50 the price was average and I got sausages, bacon, egg, beans and choice of hash browns, chips or both. My bf got burger with chips and onion rings for £4.50 and meal deal for £5.00 which includes a coffee or tea. The staff were friendly and helpful even though we were indecisive at first and portions were good. There were a very good portion of chips and onion rings with the burger too. My food was luke warm though and afraid the bacon had been left out too long as it was tad hard. Went to the Opticians afterwards, extremely great prices at £70 or 2 for £99. This includes all extras for free, like the thinning(which costs £90 itself at Specsavers!) and I got the other pair as sunglasses, also free. Also has a McDonald’s upstairs.

I have shopped here for over 10 years! I love it, I loved it before it became the big Walmart and I love it now. It has everything you could possibly need and more. REcently though I have noticed a massive hike in prices on such things as icing sugar, cheese, baby milk(went up by £1.30 in the space of a week) and more which annoyed me. I watch the prices on everyhing and you notice the odd pence here and there however the items I have just metnioned went up by about 50−60p each in about a week. I still shop here though and have still given 5 stars because as my husband says, it is my second home! Thanks Asda! xxx

This huge Asda store under went a big refubishment recenty. Sadly I don’t think it improved the store in any way. Firstly they discounted lines of Halal sweets and I can no longer get them anyway. They also moved the baby section to the furthest corner of the store on the bottom floor which means its a right trail plus you have to go through the toy section and my older son now bugs me every shopping trip for a new. But my biggest problem is that they now employ staff to carry around signs in front of the tills which say space here which I feel is plain stupid. Clearly I can see for myself how many people are in a queue. Totally pointless. Dispite these problem the staff in this store are usually very friendly and helpful and the prices are great so it is a good place to shop.

This is one BIG supermarket, but the layout is good, so it doesn’t feel as big as it is, you don’t have to walk through the toiletries to get to the electricals for instance. Downstairs they have a large clothes department, a sizeable electricals and media section, toys and baby paraphenalia, seasonal aisles and the toiletries. There is also a chemist on this floor, and a coffeeshop. Upstairs — ground level — there is the normal range that you would expect from a supermarket, starting with fresh fruit on the left and finishing with the alcohol section and stationery at the tills. There is a large amount of tills and I’ve never hd to queue long. There is a McDonalds here, which is small, cxramped and very busy. The car park is large, with lots of mother and baby spaces.

Asda Pudsey(Owlcotes) is a really huge asda. Upstairs is all the usual asda stuff, food, drinks, weekly shopping stuff etc. Downstairs is everything else. Baby goods, a huge George clothing range, opticians, a really nice café, sporting equipment, cds, dvs, electricials. they sell everything here. It does take a while to have a good look around. I dont do my weekly shop here though as it would cost me far too much money!

More commonly known as ‘Big ASDA’(just by me, like), this place is like the Daddy of supermarkets. I love it. I still get excited when I roll my trolley onto the travelator-escalator to go and hunt for clothes and electricals and toiletries and glasses and home stuff downstairs. Easy to while away a couple of hours here — especially cos there’s a McDonalds at the entrance — so make sure you’re not in a rush. Open 24 hours, but the staff tend to be less friendly at 1.30 in the morning, I’ve discovered. Was it because I was skipping down the aisles or something? Cheer up, you work at BIGASDA!

A great place to shop if you like to browse around. Its that big theres an upstairs and downstairs with food at the top and non food at bottom. It has big ranges of clothes, homewares, electrical, audio etc. Good for offers too. It also has a large car park
