Not a place for atmosphere I must add. However our group of 5 enjoyed nice pints of Guinness, Carling n Stella. Prices are sooo cheap compared to back in Manchester.

Although the consensus seems to be that it’s a bit of a dive, but I don’t mind The Sun Inn at all. I’m not a drinker, and don’t often go to pubs, and when I do I like somewhere quiet. This is pretty much guaranteed to be quiet. Sure, it’s kind of a desolate place, but there are three or four rooms, and you can always find a corner to have a chat in private with your mates. Meets all the requirements I want from a pub.

Everyone has the place where they had their first pint, sadly this is mine and even more frightening is that they haven’t decorated since– maybe they are awaiting my return!!!
Not very bright from outside but don’t worry it’s only a reflection of the interior.
It’s fortunate that the regulars love this place because it doesn’t shout welcome from outside but should you try it they stock decent real ale and do give you a friendly welcome.
