Fraise Et Chocolat

It is the CUTEST place!
You know me, always on the ball when it comes to tasty well run value for money cafes and this presses all my buttons.
A newly opened spot in the village of Poyntzpass, 10 miles out of Newry, and it is a real treasure, the menu is a bit like myself, small but perfectly formed, breakfast, soup, sandwiches, cakes, scones, pastries and BUNS. The coffee is delicious and the cake portions are HUGE. A big thumbs up in my book!
Intimate tables and 2 sofas downstairs and a huge bright and airy second floor with sofas and chairs perfect to laze about on reading the magazines thoughtfully supplied.
The staff are eager to please and friendly another big tick from me, this place will do really well, although I feel they would do even better if they opened slightly earlier and included Sundays, this is the reason that Fraise Et Chocolat didn’t quite get the 5 stars from me.
Food tasty, fresh and home made, alongside welcoming décor makes FRAISE ET CHOCOLAT a café not to be missed.
Well worth the drive to visit.
