I visited this branch just before Christmas 2014(the night before Christmas Eve infact!) as my brother had asked for some last minute t shirts from there as he was visiting from Australia. I went in and found a really good range of men’s t-shirts, however it was hard to find all of the decent ones in larger sizes(the sizes come up very small apparently) and he had asked for extra large — the majority of nice colours were in the smaller sizes — so it took me a while to find the four I finally chose. Also as a small(5 ft 4) female, I found it very awkward to reach up to the higher t shirts hanging so it took a longer time for me to shop and a lot of the rails had too many t shirts hanging on them so lots of clothes kept falling. Maybe due to the time of year there didn’t seem to be anyone on the floor to ask for help or offering to help; when I got to the till to pay, the guy who served me was very friendly and chatty though. If you want a trendy, usually overpriced clothing range at cheap prices(for example the four t shirts I got my brother were only 14.95 pounds and apparently are usually around 30 — 40 pounds!) then definitely head here. In the main shopping thoroughfare at Gunwharf so very handy for other stores and the public transport of trains and buses at nearby Portsmouth Harbour, and the Gosport Ferry, and served by the car park too.

I love superdry so i was very excited when Superdry announced their new store in Gunwharf. The selection of menswear is great although if you’re looking for womens clothing as i was, there was a very limited amount of stuff to choose from. And as usual with Superdry stores it is sometimes a little tricky to work out what is male and female as they tend to overlap. The select amount of women’s clothing is right at the back of the store in the corner, not the greatest location either.
