The fiancée and I were looking for somewhere for dinner in Portsmouth before a concert at the Guildhall. A quick search on the app brought us to the little restaurant row of Osborne St We really enjoyed our meal here. Solid Greek cooking. Moist tender meat flavoured with oregano. If only we had spotted the Kleftiko, on as a special. Never mind. Next time!

I had wanted to visit this Mediterranean restaurant for years and finally made it there when I treated Mama P to Mother’s Day lunch there and we weren’t disappointed — though we were stuffed after eating too much! We decided to go for the Cypriot Mezze which was delicious and like the gift that just kept on giving — we were brought beautiful, warm bread with dips; halloumi(always my fave!); kebabs; koftes; moussaka! As if this wasn’t enough, the service was brilliant — polite; friendly & extremely quick & efficient considering the restaurant was completely full. Located in the heart of Southsea so in a very convenient position for transport; shops & bars. Would definitely return & recommend.

Traditional Greek Cuisine. There was group of 6 ladies on a afternoon in Southsea. Friendly Waitor from Seville, very obliging, no rushing in between Starters & Mains. Initially we were the only ones in the Restaurant, but it soon filled up. We all agreed that the Starters & the bread were the Winners & more us, than the mains, except one who went for the Lamb Chops which she really enjoyed, 4 went for Seftalia(I being one & I did enjoy), but 2 others felt the meat a bit dry, another went for Soutzoukakia which she was not keen on. I must admit I do not like Greek Dips, so I went for the Eggplant Salad, not for me either. It came too just over £104.00, consisting of 5 starters, 6 mains, 3 lagers(bottles), small jug of Rose, a large jug of house red & a orange juice which I thought with the portions sizes it was very reasonable. All agreed will visit again.

Have been visiting this little gem for 7 years and have seen it go from cheap café /takeaway to a proper little restaurant with cloths on the tables. Great authentic menu, always very friendly. And a bargain to boost. Recommend sharing a big plate of Mezes for starters. Coffee and Greek cakes are a good option here too if you’ve a sweet tooth.

Well, a bit of a surprise. We’d been sent to a restaurant around the corner because we were searching for mussels(don’t ask), but it turned out not to be serving food on a Thursday evening. So on our random ambling around Southsea we cam across Steki which had mussels on the menu(perhaps a bit unusual for a Greek restaurant). Turned out to be a great choice, the mussels were fine, the Seftalia tasty, the portions huge, the service friendly. Recommended.
