Boulangerie où l’on peut acheter des sponge cake et les fameux cornish pastries (chausson fourrée soit de viande, légumes ou fromage dans la version salé soit de fruits, chocolat) les salés sont pas mal le porc cidre pommes et le poireau Bacon fromage très bon. On peut les consommer sur place ou les emporter pour un prix modique de 4£ chaque.

The ambiance left me decidedly underwhelmed: pale Linoleum floors, gray vinyl covered chairs, white walls… you get the picture.
But who really give a hoot about the décor when the food on offer is to die for? The buttery tea cakes melted in my mouth, the cream cakes did likewise, and the coffee was strong and fresh but not bitter.
I walked in and (at least it felt like it) rolled out again 45 minutes later, my life much enriched by having visited Presto.

I have had nice pasties and horrid pasties here, and my horrid pasty gave me an upset stomach so I don’t think I’ll be popping in again any time soon.
The place always smells so inviting, but the prices are so expensive, even if you are taking it away not eating in. There is a good range of interesting pasties, but prices need to come down, and I need to feel assured that the food is OK, if I’m ever to go back.
