This is a great branch of this popular High Street chain — it is large, well laid out and full of a wide range of stock.
Whether you’re after an outfit for a night out, for work or just coz it’s payday and you deserve it, you’re bound to find it in here. You will also then have to find a bag and jewellery to go with as it’d just be rude not to, wouldn’t it?!
There is a huge shoe range here too so whatever the latest trend is in footwear, you will find if here and still have change to consider buying that second pair too!
This store is always busy but the customer service tends to be good, polite, frorndly and quick, though sometimes there can be a bit of a queue.
This store is in a fantastic central location, right in the centre of Portsmouth’s Commercial Road, so very convenient.

This branch of new look is alright, the fashion isn’t the most daring and is quite generic and safe, usually the clothing near the front two corners of the the store is the best. The lingerie selection is very poor, was hoping for the Kelly Brooke collection but no such luck.
I really like New Look’s shoes but just with the clothes the shoes aren’t that fashion forward not the stuff you see in magazines. Jewellery and accessories selection is poor but 10 — 20% off for students depending on the time of year.

I will never understand why the largest branch of New Look right in the city centre stopped stocking the plus size range. there are plenty of plus size ladies in Portsmouth and on enquiring I was told the nearest branch stocking the range was Fareham, However on a chance visit to Cosham I found they stock thew range. New look is a pretty good value fashion chain, with several branches in Portsmouth.
