I have been to this salon about 4 times now for myself and trusted them with my daughter’s (5 years) unruly mane, and thus far Kay has done a great job. The décor is rather Ikea-​ified, but it’s fit for purpose, doesn’t cost the earth for a decent cut and blow dry and are all a very friendly bunch.
Haven’t yet opted for anything more adventurous than an aforesaid cut and blow dry and an up-​do however, I don’t doubt that the same level skill, friendliness and good customer service would be applicable. Kay showed initiative and made my hair look fabulous for a Christmas party, taking the time to do a few things I would not normally consider. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone moving in to the Old Portsmouth area, it’s well-​situated, easy to find and if you drive it’s street parking (if you go around the corner into the residential area it’s free for 2 hours.)
