HMV

I think this is a great branch of the high street retailer, although in this day and age it’s easy to go online and order pretty much anything you want and be guaranteed it in only a few days (and often a tad cheaper too), it’s still nice sometimes to go and have a browse and this is how I feel about HMV.
It also helps that in this branch there is always someone to help and willing to help and they’re friendly too — winner! The prices in HMV tend to be pretty competitive too, they always have good bargains and usually something for everyone in their 2 for £10 dvd or cd selection so when you’re after a dvd for that quiet or rainy Sunday afternoon /​evening (or is that just me and my flatmate that do this?!) you no doubt will find one here.
Ideally situated in Gunwharf Quays, the problem you will have is how many things you will want to purchase!

This large HMV store is located within the Gunwharf complex. It is situated in the undercover part so if you are walking around the complex you can’t miss it. The store is of reasonable size and sells a large range of cds, dvds, and computer games. It is laid out over two floors with the computer games downstairs and the rest of the goods upstairs. An escalator is available to help you get upstairs so minimal exercise is involved. Although it is placed within the outlet shopping centre it does not appear to have any more offers than the usual store does. HMV can be quite expensive but lately they have been having more sales, probably so they can compete with the growing number of online stores offering cheaper prices. Therefore you can often find a good bargain here now.
