This store provides good quality, discounted shoes, boots, sandals, handbags for Men, Women and children. I often head into this store when the children need a new pair of school shoes. The range is very limited, often it would not be their first choice if I had taken them to a full price store, but what they dont see they dont know they are missing! Instead of paying £38 for my Sons shoes in September I purchased a smart, well fitted pair of school shoes for £18, a saving of £20! Be prepared to wait and queue, especially at peak times or weekends and ALWAYS make sure you take a ticket or you could be waiting and waiting! It always has a bargain in store if you are prepared to search. The Ladies and Mens shoes are laid out in size order and it is worth spending a little time looking along the rails — you will be sure to find a bargain.

Like every Clarkes shop shoes to die for! I bought a pair of lovely brown boots for the winter and they were reduced from £64 to £39 bargain or what! I just love Clarkes shoes because they are comfortable and yet still that little bit different. They appear to be making more modern shoes nowadays — I suppose they are moving with the times. The staff in this store were very helpful.

Shopping here is a hit or miss affair. In my shoe size there is often not much available, and while I’ve had one good pair of trainers, I’ve also had one not so great pair of sandals! There are some great discounts/special offers like selected boots £15 original price £60, but the staff aren’t very helpful if you need assistance to find your size etc. The shop is well laid out and there’s plenty of seating(essential when shoe shopping)!
