BHS is one of those stores that I’ve always wondered in amazement at how they’ve escaped the downfall that have hit so many others during the recession and its aftermath.
Obviously this is mainly due to a certain Mr Green being in charge but also they do manage to churn out some good, on trend items — though sometimes their prices could be a tad more realistic for what they are. Sometimes BHS manage to move with the times but other times I despair at them and wonder at how they’re still going.
One of their winning areas is the goodies they have on offer at Chrismas times — with really good deals and packs of drinks, sweets and treats.
Year round they do great offers on a variety of DVDs and CDs.
In a fantastic location within the Cascades shopping centre and close to the town centre of Commercial Road, this store also boasts a pretty good café too.
This store is a great example of what good customer service should be like and it wouldn’t surprise me to one day spy that certain Mr Green mosying down the aisles as I have down in the Oxford Street branch.

They have a very nice café in BHS and it’s huge so you can always find a table. The shopping in general is pretty average. the shops nice and big and easy to get around, but I think it’s a bit expensive for a middle of the road shop.
