Excellent coffee shop (and ice cream, tempting cakes and a range of well made and reasonably generous snacks) — fantastic setting, right on the promenade facing the westerly sunset.
Take a hat on a sunny day if sitting outside on the elevated terrace (best position for people and sea watching) — hat needed for protection from searing rays that seem to beam in directly at your face from the solar furnace.
Might need to time your arrival to coincide descreetly with a vacating table (outside ones that is — there are plenty indoors) — just don’t look too obvious as you start to run the last few yards to grab the seat before another bottom alights.
Service can be a bit slow and costs are not at the cheap end — but definitely worth it — Americano with hot milk served perfectly.
