Globe Inn

Ate here when staying at the Trecco holiday park. It was excellent. Good menu, well cooked, lovely staff, good prices. So good we went back the next night.

The Globe is situated on the edge of Newton Village, and is a fairly large, traditional style pub. The pub has separate areas for dining and drinking.
The bar is quite old fashioned, and is mainly frequented by locals. There is a pool table, some fruit machines and a quiz on a Sunday night.
As far as the food goes it varies. The Globe has had a few different owners/​managers over the last few years, so you never really know if the menu is going to have changed. Even when it does it remains fairly typical pub grub all the usual suspects on offer, at reasonable prices. Good enough but nothing special.
There’s a big car park, and some outdoor seating but the Globe really cant compare with the other Newton Pubs with their great views and location on the village green.
