So here we were on the sunday after a birthday party for my friend in Bournemouth where she used to go to university. Apparently the Jazz café used to be more colloquially named«Jazzys». At 1pm on a sunday afternoon it had a live Jazz quartet playing to a crowd of diners in a café style environment. The place has recently been extended ready for the summer season and sadly we didn’t get a table looking out onto the sea front. You order the food from the bar and it is served at your table, the food is very reasonably priced, it was £10.00 for moules mariniere which were delicious and served with chips. However the drinks we super duper pricey at a cool £3.75 for a teeny glass bottle of diet coke! The atmosphere was laid back and there were quite a few children in the restaurant, this teamed with the Jazz made it quite a loud affair so I probably wouldnt want to head down for a quiet breakfast etc. I would definitely go again, everyone enjoyed their food and the waiting staff were very attentive!
