This place does really exceptional and reasonably priced curry. The service is good although the last time we went we had a waiter we all decided was a newbie as he seemed a little flustered and clueless (we have all been the new people at work before so will not hold this against them)
The Gate of India special is delish! Pieces of marinated meat in a really yummy sweet spicy sauce. When the older man is there (who I think may be the boss/​owner) he recognises my mum and always make her meal sugar free (she’s diabetic) he always remembers which is lovely as we aren’t that regular. We go maybe once every two months.
They do take away too and this is often our Saturday night treat.
