One thing I took for granted living in America is customer service. For some reason, in England it seems to not exist. When I do find a place that offers good service, I’m all over it.
The Cornish Maid’s Shop Fudge Shop is a small sweet shop in Polperro that offers all sorts of goodies like biscuits and sweets, and most importantly, fudge (try the peanut butter, it was fab!). The proprietor was so nice, she talked to us about the town and let us sample fudge. And her homemade ginger biscuits are seriously to die for.
One cool thing about this shop is the customized gift baskets – you pick the size of basket you want can fill it with the goodies of your choice. This was ideal for our picky family members that wouldn’t have liked everything in the ready-​made baskets.
