Sea view with green tea and prawn crackers. Excited by my starters and duck pancakes, lovely presentation and the typical carved vegetables — carrot made into a flower etc… Very over the top décor, great food and seems to be busy most of the time.

The Wet Wok offers solid Chinese food in a spectacular location on the Hoe looking out onto the harbour. Indeed, you are so close to the water that in stormy conditions spray will crash against the large double glazed frontage which provides access to the aforementioned views. It is worth booking to ensure you get a window seat. However, set against this is fairly hum drum food, full of the staples of the UK’s take on Chinese food. While all were delivered to a reasonably high standard, it did not excite in the way it could have if more interesting or unusual dishes were on offer. Still, for me the Wet Wok is still well worth a visit for the view alone.

Been here for both a takeaway and a meal in the restaurant and was impressed bth times. The restaurant is nice although the décor looks a little tacky but the view over the sound are great. It’s quite pricey but the food is nice and there is a huge selection. There is also seating outside. The staff are efficient but not overly friendly.

The Wet Wok Chinese Restaurant is in a great location on the seafront overlooking Plymouth sound with good parking nearby. The restaurant is quite small but can accomodate large parties sitting together. The food is excellent especially the sweet and sour! The price is reasonable and they do a good buffet on Sundays for all you can eat. The drinks are a bit pricey and the service is sometimes a bit abrupt but overall it is a lovely place to have a chinese!
