If you want great home made American style cooked food, fantastic local bands 6 days a week with a friendly pro-​active atmosphere then this is the place to go in Plymouth. ¹⁰⁄₁₀

Nice place to chill out and relax. Food is not too bad either!

Located by the Harbour in Plymouth this place was great to sit outside in the sun on one of the many tables and chairs outside, unfortunately some of the language from the nearby tables didn’t impress us a great deal but then that’s not the pubs fault. All in all we had a pleasant afternoon the food looked average so I am sure there are worse places

The restaurant has a good selection of food to suit most peoples taste however it isn’t very exciting and is quite average. However there is a nice atmosphere and it’s good the restaurant is upstairs as it doesn’t get too noisy and rowdy. They often have live bands and singers which creates a lively atmosphere.

The food here is very nice, especially the home made burgers. The menu is fairly simple but enough choice for all i would say, and reasonably priced to. there is an up nd downstairs dining area. there is often live music which always pulls a large crowd and the band choice sare often very good. nice atmosphere!

downstairs is brilliant, the whole atmosphere actually, both downstairs and upstairs is just awesome, drinks arent particularly expensive and service is generally good. Often have blues paying and it isnt too obtrusive, it’s just a pleasure to listen to while chilling with a drink.
Upstairs is the dining part of the bar, the ‘grill’. Again, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the service is acceptable, but unfortunately the food, although always well cooked and presented, is somewhat boring and bland, i doubt anyone would walk away thinking that they must come back due to the food.
So overall, this is a brilliant place to relax with a drink, but no the best for a meal.
