THEBIGBADBLUENEWS! I was suspiciously full after a mediocre amount suggesting a very high MSG content which could also explain the taste. The chicken balls lacked flavor and consistency, the prawn toast was missing a vital ingredient PRAWNS! the lemon chicken was absent of zest, the chicken curry was somehow dry, the rice was, well the rice was INDIAN! Ironically the crispy duck was the only thing that had moisture, and that was pork. to sum up the short lived affair. the royal garden WHERETHECRISPYDUCKISSOGGYPORK

Good central location within the city centre on St Andrews Cross roundabout –this actually used to be our offices when it a Royal Insurance, hence the name i guess — It was strange the first time i ate here knowing that just a few years ago i was sitting on that very spot with a computer! anyway. Have ate here twice, and both times was quite dissappointed. The first time was from the full evening menu, and the food was just about inedible. Served luke warm they meat was chewy, the sauce was lumpy, the rice was undercooked need i go on The 2nd time was a works team lunch, this was better experience though not great. Had a buffet with a fair amount of dishes, but found they were slow to top up. Waitresses were nice enough but english was not great Top tip — stick to Buffet city next door

I have eaten in the restaurant(all you can eat buffet) and had a takeaway from here. Prices good compared to other chineses I have tried. The food is really good apart from the prawn crackers! Food was delivered quickly and was nice and hot. Could pay over the phone for the takeaway which is an advantage. The buffet had quite a few dishes and desserts but the food wasn’t as good as the takeaway.
