I’ve eaten here several times for breakfast and dinner and keep coming back because it’s amazing. Easily one of the best, if not the best, place to eat in Plymouth. Agreed, it is in a slightly odd location, but it’s great inside and the food is incredible. You’ll probably have to book in advance!

Rock Salt Café is worth a serious detour. The food is not to be believed. Our home bace is NYC and we have eaten at many fine places around the world. This out-​of-​the way café served up sea bass, guinnea hen, salad and peach Melba that establishments with Michelin stars would be proud to call their own. My husband and I have eaten here on several occasions for lunch and dinner and the food is absolutely delicious. Every dish is so full of flavour it’s certainly never fails to satisfy the taste buds. The staff are friendly and very welcoming and the venue is warm and inviting. I highly recommend the lamb dish and the crab cocktail for starters mmmmm it’s the best lamb and crab dish I’ve tasted.
