Goals are of course overpriced and if you like playing in a matchbox then this is for you, goals are all about making a profit, so jamming in as many pitches is the name of the game, the surface is good but more schools now have rubber crump to play on so goals looked very very expensive at £32 for 30 or 40 mins mayflower indoor pitch cost £ 16 for 30mins that is better value and a much bigger pitch which allows you to actually play football unlike goals which has to much body contact and shooting from anywhere !!

Goals soccer centre is a good place to organise a quick game of footy with your mates. It’s reasonably priced but be prepared to come home with a few tyres worth of rubber in your socks and shoes. The pitches are small and if playing at night they will often turn only half of the flood lights on making visibility difficult. If you want to play 5 a side I would recommend mayflower centre as it’s a large pitch and inside as well as good sized goals and you play with a proper 5 aside ball. But goals is ok for the odd match.

Great inexpensive five a side football venue. Pitches are quite small(definately no more than ten at a time) and you dont get much time on the ball but they are of good quality astroturf sprinkled with a(sometimes too) healthy dose of rubber crumb. Balls can be borrowed if you leave a phone or keys at reception. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a bar on the premises which seems to be rarely used and there are seperate rooms which can be hired out for kids parties. Price is £32 a pitch, but be warned, if you cancel they may still try to charge you.
