Good: Chicken Caesar salad, veggie burger, offering salads instead of chips. Beer garden.
Sometimes good: Beef burgers
Bad: Steak and super-​chewy chicken breast burger.

Fairly typical Wetherspoons. The pub is situated on the main shopping drag about 300 yards from Rayners Lane tube station. It’s almost an archetype for a Wetherspoons pub. For some reason Wetherspoons seems to like cavernous narrow buildings that go back a long way from the street frontage. The pub is split on two levels, the front area has some tables outside and you go in to a a bar area which has TVs and is often busy and noisy. Further back you go down some steps to a dining area. At the back there is an optimistically named «beer garden», which is in fact a paved, fenced area with a few pot plants which backs on to a car park. Given the smoking laws this area is only ok if you like cigarette smoke. Otherwise all the normal pros and cons of a Wetherspoons branch.
