The Good Intent

One of the few places in Petersfield to have consistently good ales that are frequently changed. Great place for a cheeky 1 or 3 if the rest of town is rammed. Food’s good too; unassuming and reasonably priced.

never had a bad meal here, the food is lovely pricey but well worth it, they do a good varied range of food, also a very nice setting inside is quaint and the landlord and lady are both welcoming to all.

Das Good Intent ist einfach spitze. Es handelt sich hierbei um einen richtigen typischen, alten, englischen Pub. Allein nur die Atmosphäre ist schon einladend. Aber das Essen ist einfach einmalig. Die Qualität der lunch sandwiches wird nur noch durch das wechselnde Abendangebot getoppt. Neben wechselnden Gerichten gibt es natürlich auch die Pub-​Klassiker wie fish ‘n’ chips, bredded scampi, Bubble&Squeek
Der Nachtisch ist einfach einmalig. Z.B. sollte man sich für den Brownie oder die Passionsfrucht-​Crème Brullée immer etwas Platz lassen.
Sonntags treten sehr gute Bands auf (Eintritt frei) und das Pub Quiz am Montag ist legendär. Dienstags gibt es All-​You-​Can-​Eat Curryund viele andere saisonale Attraktionen.
Also immer einen Besuch wert.
