Huge store, has everything you need, but awful service staff are bad mannered, and very unhelpful as a whole. Tend to visit one of the other supermarkets instead if I have the time to drive a bit further!

My local tesco is great for having almost everything you need to hand in one place. You really can do a 1 stop shop. Only downside is the online deliveries come from a store much further away which uses more fuel.

if you like shopping with the masses its the place for you. Large, uninviting souless place. But build it and they will come.

Tesco’s on Serpentine Green is an experience in itself. If you want everything and anything available under one roof, you should go here! It is so large that shelf stackers have to roller-skate round. It stocks the usual grocery items, along with clothes, electrical items, DVDs, CD’s, alcohol and books/magazines. It makes up part of the Serpentine Green centre which showcases a range of shops available in Queensgate, but in an out of town hassle free environment.

Big range of food plus some other home products but not the best quality. Usual supermarket problem with products regularly moved around so hard to find. Nearly always seems busy which makes shopping uncomfortable, compounded by staff wheeling around massive trolleys as they select items for the on-line shoppers. The only things really in its favour are convenience and reasonable prices.

The ‘Tesco’s’ store is very big, and is well laid out. The stock levels are consistently high, but this would be expected for a store of this size. The fact it is a 24hour shop is very helpful and beneficial to its customers, as it gives you the freedom to decide when you want to shop, letting you avoid large queues or busy times. The isles are all wide enough for prams, pushchairs or wheelchairs, which can also be very useful. There is a good variety of stock and it is generally easy to find. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful; however some do let the rest down slightly.

Tesco Extra located at Serpentine Green is HUGE !! It sells EVERYTHING. You can literally do your food shop, drink, toiletries, clothes, toys, music, gaming, dvds, gifts, DIY, electricals, gifts, cards, papers and magazines, tobacco, lottery, stamps, photo gifts and processing. There is a chemist and an opticians ! There is free parking and lots of trolley huts(please be aware that you should take a trolley in with you as the trolley chute inside NEVER works!) The only problem is that you pop in for a pint of milk and come out £40 lighter usually!

This place has everything. From food, to electricals, bedding, toys etc. And its always busy. If you want itthen its here somewhere. The only issue is finding it. However, even that isn’t hard and everything is laid out in sections and is easy to navigate. My only gripe is that it can be an issue to find child parking(ie, its a nightmare) and their so called trolley shute near the store inside has been broken for ages. Its not a place i go to when I’m in a rush as I spend far too much time looking around than I really should. Other than that its great.

It is a Very large 24 hr Tesco, but watch out on a Saturday night as it does shut at 10pm, and on a Sunday it closes at 4pm. There is a Wide range of goods but I do find that the stock levels can be disappointing at times for such a large store. I really do feel that they need better stock control. On the the whole, the staff seem very helpful, but I have found on several occasions that they do not really know the stock very well and advise can be poor in some departments. I always seem to leave this store wishing I had gone elsewhere to shop.

This is a great Tesco store — at the time it was built it was promoted as the biggest in the country. Maybe thats still the case, I’m not sure. Its the centrepiece of a very tidy shopping centre which houses names such as Next, Boots and so on, but the Tesco store itself is worth a visit on its own. Its huge — bigger than you might think, and really does contain anything you might need under the one roof — food, drink, DVDs, electrical goods, clothes and a Tesco direct counter. Also open 24 hours, and the couple of times I;ve been at 2am ish, its still been steadily busy!

On the outskirts of P’boro, just off the A1. There’s a massive car park, & the store is the largest one in a well presented shopping mall. Other stores inc Game, Next, Dororthy Perkins, Boots, New Look. This branch of Tesco is so big that the checkout supervisors are supplied with roller skates.

A brilliant store and the biggest supermarket in this area. It is in a shopping center which has Next, River Island and Boots. There is a food court which has a Tesco café. Plenty of free parking and mother and baby spaces. Sells home ware, electrical, toys, clothes and CDs.
