Somewhat bizarre B&B run by single middle-​aged man. My room was clean but smelt of smoke from the wood burner chimney which ran up through the bathroom, also stiflingly warm unless the bathroom door was kept closed and the window open. Breakfast was OK although not generous. A plethora of rules notices and CCTV cameras gave the place a rather institutional feel. As a male travelling alone, it was fine, but not somewhere I’d recommend for a romantic weekend! Very good value for money though clean and unobjectionable.
