My favourite fish and chip shop in Peterborough! The food is always of great quality, tasty and well-​prepared. The staff are always nice and listen. The curry sauce in particular, as well as the chips and sausages and certainly the fish, are all scrumptious. Would recommend this place to anyone.

This is a great fish shop always clean, always busy the food is second to non and is NEVER swimming in grease.
I have to say though that today I ordered the mini cod meal and wished I hadn’t bothered, it sounds like a great deal, mini Cod, chips and choice of side, but when it came to opening the box I was very disappointed as the fish was beyond mini! it was merely a slither (a little one at that) of cod and the rest just batter :-(with tons of chips.
Have to say next time i’ll not bother with the mini meal.
Otherwise a great shop.

After hearing the good news about Fishtastic I thought I would try them out for myself and I’m glad I did. A busy chippy on a Friday lunch time is a good sign, but the queues were almost out the door.
Fishtastic’s combined a traditional fish and chip shop (counter, typical menu range) with modern practices — cardboard boxes instead of waxed paper and sustainability info. On the wall is helpful screen showing where their current fish stock was sourced!
I ordered Haddock out of habit as I prefer to have my fish cooked to order, but their Cod was sustainable too. The fish was cooked perfectly, chips were kept hot without going soggy (probably down to the box) and a can of Cream Soda washed it all down a treat.
Fishtastic is a little out of my way, but for quality fish and chips like this I’ll be coming back! Keep up the great work.

Love this chip shop, all cooked fresh and tastes delicious, would highly recommend to everyone who wants decent non soggy fish & chips for a reasonable price. Staff are always friendly and the place is spotlessly clean.

Tried this place for the fist time and I was not let down by the quality of the meal I received.
Decent prices compared to other chip shops I have been to and the first chip shop I have seen that also does deliveries!
Polite & friendly staff, highly recommend.
Edit: I forgot to mention that my meal was made to order, which to me is the best way as I like my fish & chips fresh as it all tastes miles better!

Being a new chippy, I was a little dubious like many about trying it. But pleasantly suprised as I am every time I visit!
The food is second to none, prices are a little more expensive than other local shops but you pay for what you get. Only thing lacking is the service which can be a little slow at times but the food makes it worth the wait.
All fish is prepared fresh for you giving you the comfort in knowing that it’s fresh all the time. Also nice to see a ‘massive’ selection of fish for you from cod to hake and skate. Well worth a try
