Not inexpensive but worth the money, the best sea food I’ve had in a while. Scallops, excellent, ray(as in skate /ray etc.), extraordinary. Went back the next night… every bit as good. We hadn’t booked ahead so we ate at a table in the bar area(they were fully booked both nights). The chef just got a Bib Gourmand Award(one of Michelin’s awards) and was previously at The Abbey where he earned a Michelin Star. The restaurant is unpretentious and had a warm welcome for anyone who came through the door whether for the bar or restaurant. It was recommended to us by a local and was every bit as good as her recommendation. Not easy to find, ask locally for directions; everyone knows the place. My wife also said it was the best Guinness she’d had outside of Dublin.

Nice pub in Newlyn. Good menu of local /fresh food but also some pub classics. We went on a week night in the Autumn so was fairly quiet but a few locals. Can imagine it being very busy in the summer with an outside area to. Friendly staff, good food, can’t go wrong.

Tiny pub near the harbour Newlyn, Landlord Alan is a real ale nut and some of finest beers in the area can be found here. Live music(Jazz) every Sunday and folk music every other Wednesday. Food is excellent and I recommend any of the local fish dishes which are bought from the fish market 2 minutes walk away. Pub has a pay car park for its customers.

A busy pub that does good beer and a good range of pub food. Tables seem to get reserved at the weekends. Very good staff. Probably the best pub in Newlyn.
