Can’t get better than this butcher. Local meets supplied by staff who have been there for ever. Also the friendlist staff you can ever meet who will do anything for you.
Little tip. Ask for wild, locally shot rabbit. Make sure you pick out any shot.

This is the last butcher shop in the town, but what a shop. The guys (they are all male) are fantastic. It is almost like a step back in time. They all wear the white coats, but underneath are shirts and ties. And they are sooooo friendly. Always a bit of banter going on, and you have to have your wits about you to keep up with it! Great fun. The meat variety is excellent. Their pork sausages are the best sausages in the world! They have several other flavours (pork and chive, garlic and so on) but the straight pork sausage is just out of this world. Their whole chickens are fantastic. A little more expensive compared to the local supermarket, but you get what you pay for. Can’t speak highly enough about this fantastic butcher. Number 1.
