Run by a Scottish and an Italian. This place pretty much is a gem in Paisley. Just 7 minutes walk from the main city centre. What more could be wrong. Excellent pizzas, excellent pizzas, cocktails to die for, and a good selection of other booze. The coffee is nice and strong. And to be honest, the décor is great and modern too. For what you get for your money in this place, you couldn’t go wrong. Probably the most talked about and visited place in Paisley to be.

This place hit the spot. Nice food and tasty local beer. Just what the doctor ordered when looking for decent pub type grub in Paisley. Restaurant may be a bit dark but the staff are very helpful and pleasant.

Despite me not being impressed with this place last time lunch time beckoned sandwiches were forgotten and my colleague was dreaming of more mac and cheese. So reluctantly we headed back. Before we got there we both new mac and cheese were on the cards. This meant we didn’t have to suffer the waiters long list of specials as we told him we knew what we wanted. We picked one with garlic bread and one chips and shared them. We waited more than half an hour which isn’t ideal on your lunch break. However, we were given a menu and told to order in advance next time and they will have the food ready for the time we give them. A great idea if it works. I’ll let you know if this works next time I go. Mac and cheese was great and worth the wait. Very cheesy and with a nice crust on top. Garlic bread was not very garlic but palatable none the less. The chips looked like they had been cooked in oil that hadn’t been cleaned since last time I had been here. The tasted ok but I was put off by the colour. The meals and a soft drink each for £16.00 including tip, not bad and there are other deals on that were just not trying but I don’t know if I’ll ever have anything other than the mac and cheese again as it was so good and the pasta last time so bad. I will come here again but I won’t be rushing.

Been in here à few times, always seems to be busy, have to fight your way to the bar. Very small bar, toilets are à disgrace with only one cubicle locking and a lack of toilet paper. Dj plays mixed music. Food and drink abit pricey but nice.

Home to Paisley’s glitterati, beautiful people, Jam Jar boasts Paisley’s widest selection of cocktails. Good thing I’m a big fan of cocktails then. Their Strawberry Daiquiri is to die for and a steal at £4-it also comes in a quaint little Jam Jar for your enjoyment. But you can’t shake the feeling that people in here look down their noses at you. It’s full of people who used to go to school with you, but probably thought you were a pure weirdo. Visit for the outstanding cocktails, but for anything else-it’s all a bit lacklusture. If you want a good night, head to Bungalow, ten yards away. But do have a cocktail in here first. Strawberry Daiquiri. MMMM.
