Upon entering Harvies alongwith my friends Laughlan (aka:too far Tony) & Dando (aka:poor mans Van Persie lookalike) you are indeed immediately struck by the interior design. Warm & inviting ??? Not quite. Canary yellow, sorry, cream paper/​paintwork, old womans mahogany seating & spindles & carpetting which looks like it was fitted when Jesus was starting out… The food when it arrived was standard proceedure pub grub. Frozen but cooked/​reasonably priced & served swiftly in a pleasant manner. Pubs like Harvies, liberally sprinkled around Paisley will never blow anyones skirt up until they move with the times. Or be moved by them…

Not a bad bar, but definitely a man’s bar with the large TV screens showing sport most of the time. We occasionally venture in for a bite to eat & drink. The menu is quite predictable pub grub & reasonably priced with fairly large portions which are served promtly by cheery staff.
