Burger King

I popped in here after playing squash, the irony wasn’t lost on me either at 1800 calories for some of the burgers, and going to my sick girlfriend’s house. She wanted junk food to make her feel better so I through that en route this was the place to go.
Two XL bacon double cheese burger meals with portions of onion rings and chilli cheese bites came to around £18.00. Expensive for junk food, but well that was a big order and the extras are not necessary when you consider that an XL bacon double is the size of my face.
I used the drive through and was perplexed by the car in front of me not actually picking anything up, maybe he got lost? All in all I didn’t wait too long but got what seemed like a sincere apology about the wait. The server was friendly and although it took a while to get everything ready she made me smile with her general chat.
Got home and devoured the food. I think BK is the king of low end takeaways and the new chips they have are off the chain, both thick and crispy mmmmm. Everything was warm and tasty. All in all although the term «quality cost» is a bit farcical when referring to somewhere like this, I’d rather pay a few pounds more to eat here than Maccy D’s and I do feel like it’s worth it.
Slight downer, the woman didn’t put the lid on my drink properly and unlike Maccy D’s stable 4 cup juice holder BK only gave me a wobble two cup container. Needless to say in my haste to get to Laura’s the juice fell over in the car. .…But, I’ve played this game before and knew to check the lid was on the cup. However, were it not for my constant vigilance BK would be getting a 1 star review and I would have stick car mats.
