We were dying for some good nosh after a decent walk !!! The girl working behind the counter was really nice & we were really looking forward to ‘award winning fish & chips’ The fish was fresh and the batter fairly crispy but the chips were FAR from fresh !!! shrivelled & dry pretty much sums them up !! in this current economic climate we don’t eat out much so this was a real treat… Or not as the case was for us. HAPPY HOLIDAYS !!! alot of dosh for a less than yummy nosh !!!

A mixed review from me, the food is usually good but the service isn’t. Alot of the staff couldn’t care less, at least that is how they make me feel. This is for the takeaway and the restaurant. To be honest I am surprised they are so busy as there are better places in Paignton and Brixham.
However, the restaurant is very smart for a fish and chip restaurant and the menu is good. Also convenient for parking.

Never used the restaurant but have bought take away fish and chips — which were very tasty, average priced. Shame they don’t sell cheesy chips! Also, kids boxes selection is not the best. Gets very busy at times, but staff is always efficient and friendly.

5 stars for a chip shop?
no mistake this is the King of Chippies, Be prepared to wait for a table if eating in or a 20 minute average queue for the takeaway. all cooked to order and as well as the usual cod and haddock Squires offers Ray, Lemon sole etc.
Really the best Fish & chip shop I have found. situated halfway between Paignton and Brixham it is worth the drive.
I have a friend who regularly drives a 40 mile round trip to eat here and I don’t blame him!
