prob the best pub in paignton food is lovely drinks are pricey but u get great bands playing it can get quite busy at weekends. its a lovely place to sit outside in the summer overlooking the green and the beach with the old pier!

This is a decent enough place on the front in Paignton, in fact probably the best sea facing option around. For my taste buds, 2 real ales. Bays Gold and Tetleys Huntsmen. Went for the latter, which was nice enough, but not quite worth staying for a 2nd of.
A live music venue in the evenings. Large food menu. Children are more than welcome apparently.

If live music is your thing this is the best pub in Paignton. It’s loud, extremely busy at weekends and has s great atmosphere. My only complaint would be the drinks on offer aren’t great. Wine is rubbish, never had a good G&T there and beer is often ‘a bit dodgey’, but it still gets 4 stars I just get on the bottles of cider and enjoy the live music!

I think the Spinning Wheel is a favourite with everyone I know. I is affectionately know as the Spinney and it is a really popular place with locals and visitors. The prices are competative and it does provide a good value venue for the people in Paignton.
It has a good location right on the front opposite the green and the beach. They have a variety of live music to suit most people.
The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great, it does get crowded particularly at the weekend but it is a good alternative to the club scene in Torquay.

cool pub, live music every day, popular with students and foreigners. Dancefloor very busy at weekends! It is by far the BEST place to go out on a saturday night. It’s in a great location, next to Paignton beach front, so when you come out the club you can sit on the beach and chill out before going home or carry on the party there. The venue is small; there are 2 rooms. They have different music on different nights– mostly live bands and karaōke.
