Fryer Tucks Cafe

We make it our first Port of Call when come down about eight times a year, as the last review stated not cheap but you get what you pay for, never had a problem with the food and always very busy in high season. Staff are friendly as well.

Well the service was good but the price was astronomical!
£6.10 for fish and chips £4.25 for sausage and chips. They didn’t do kids portions (never been told that before) and the fish was a small piece.
Not sure what they have won awards for but there was nothing special about the food to justify the price, oh hang on, apart from it being close to padstow and the only chippy when you head back from Trevose Head etc.
Really, just drive on and get your chips elsewhere. Or buy a pastie.
